Bandar Seri Begawan - The Fire and Rescue Department held a thanksgiving doa and a presentation in the form of contributions to the staff of the department who will be performing the Haj for this year's 1433H/ 2012M.

The religious ceremony, which was held at the Surau of the Fire and Rescue Department HQ, began with the recital of the Surah Al-Fatihah and was followed with a presentation to Dyg Kasminah binti Hj Mohammad, one of the department's staff members.

The contribution was presented by Awg Yahya bin Hj Abd Rahman, Director of Fire and Rescue Dept.

Attendees also performed mass Asar prayers as part of the department's function.

In seeking the journey of the Haj pilgrims' to be blessed, a doa selamat was read by Ustaz Hj Adanan bin Hj Ahmad, Head Religious Teacher at the Fire and Rescue Department. Also in attendance were senior officers, officers and staff of the Fire and Rescue Department.
