Bandar Ser Begawan- In Partnership with the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB), Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) will conduct the sixth in a series of financial workshops on June 8 at the iCentre.
The sixth workshop entitled, "Hiring Right and Starting Your Employee on the Right Start" will be conducted by Annastasia Karen Raj, Standard Chartered's Country Head Talent Acquisition for Malaysia.A press release issued by the bank says it is a delight to be able to bring through a regional speaker for this workshop, which will discuss various hiring strategies and share insights into effective hiring. This free workshop is open to all and targetted at business start-ups and SMEs in Brunei.
The programme for the half-day workshop will start off with registrations from 8am to 8.30am. This will be followed by the commencement of the workshop which will last until 11am.
Standard Chartered Bank and the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB) signed a collaborative agreement in December 2011 that officiated their partnership to support the development of Brunei's Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) by presenting a series of complimentary special clinics and workshops to be held at the iCentre and other designated venues throughout January 2012 to March 2013.
Topics that will be featured include insights that will assist new businesses such as accounting practices and management, writing business plans, marketing insights, human resource insights, ethical management of companies, leveraging off public relations and others.
