Bandar Seri Begawan - The Department of Electrical Services (DES) in a press statement said it blames the power disruption in Kg Kupang and Kg Maraburong yesterday morning to a fallen tree, which damaged an 11-kilowatt cable supplying to the area.

"Our 144 DES hotline received a complaint at about 6.40am yesterday and three mobile generator sets were deployed for back-up power supply while repair works were carried out," the DES stated.

Power to the affected area was resumed at about11.35am yesterday. The DES apologised for any inconvenience caused.
