Exploring The Butterfly Garden At Tasek Merimbun

Tutong - Taman Kulimambang (the Butterfly Garden) at Tasek Merimbun, Tutong is one of the newest tourist attractions in Brunei and is popular among school students.

As the name implies, the park is home to various different species of butterflies.

According to the park's guard, the number of visitors to the park is encouraging, sometimes reaching up to a hundred per day.

The Butterfly Garden is open from 9.30am until 3.30pm with the exception of Fridays.

Entrance to the park is free. Visitors are only required to register their name on a logbook at the park's guard hut.

School holidays are a suitable time to bring children to the park to witness the beauty of the colourful butterflies as well as learn a little about Science.

Resting areas are provided and infrastructures such as fish pond, bridge and flower garden for the butterflies can also be found, serving as landscape decorations for the park as well.
