Bandar Seri Begawan - The Winding-Up Petition presented to court by Telekom Brunei Berhad against B-Mobile Sdn Bhd which was advertised in the Borneo Bulletin on February 5, 2013 was heard before Justice Dato Paduka Steven Chong yesterday.

Present during the hearing were counsels for Telekom Brunei Berhad, Andrew Ong and Too Shu Vun of CCW Partnership, Nava Palaniandy of Ahmad Isa & Partners appearing for the regulators AITI and Syarifah Safina Malai Hj Abd Hamid of Sankaran Halim appearing for QAF Comserve Sdn Bhd.

Andrew Ong informed the court that the Ministry of Finance has appointed an Executive Manager in respect of B-Mobile Sdn Bhd.

Andrew Ong further stated that the effect of the appointment under Section 149C of the Companies Act, Chapter 39 is that any petition presented against B-Mobile Sdn Bhd shall be dismissed.

Andrew Ong made the application to dismiss the petition which was granted by Justice Dato Chong.

Lawyers Nava Palaniandy and Syarifah Safina had no objections.
