Excellent Students Rewarded At PSBSOAS Religious School

Bandar Seri Begawan - A total of 136 students of Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Religious School (PSBSOAS) were rewarded for their excellent academic achievements in the pre-school, lower primary and upper primary levels, in a prize-giving ceremony held at the school yesterday.

The ceremony, which was held at the school's hall in the afternoon, was attended by parents and guardians of the students.

The event commenced with a recitation of verses of Al-Quran, which was followed by the presentation of prizes to the outstanding students. Certificates of appreciation were also handed to the school prefects for 2012.

In her welcoming speech, Cikgu Hjh Mariam binti Hj Mumin, the school's principal, stated that the ceremony is an annual event to appreciate the students' success and to boost their spirit for further studies.
