Bandar Seri Begawan - It was an emotional return for Mr Terence Then, a former student of Chung Hwa Middle School in the mid-1970s who migrated to the United States with his family, at the 90th Anniversary of Chung Hwa Middle School (CHMS) BSB.

Travelling from USA to Brunei Darussalam, Mr Terence took the rare opportunity to attend the 90th anniversary of his former school.

Mr Terence expressed his feelings saying, "As I walked through the corridor and steps of the school again, I found myself almost in tears as it was almost like yesterday that I was studying here. The main building still remains the same.

"I wanted to be personally here today to celebrate the school's 90th anniversary. The school has gone through so many challenges in the past years and I hope that the school will continue contributing to the development of the nation," he added.
