Bandar Seri Begawan - Contestants of the B.Mobile B.Fit Challenge had their first elimination round last Sunday. However, judges reminded those eliminated to keep the healthier lifestyle mindset.

A total of 10 contestants including five motivators were eliminated from the weight loss programme last Sunday as they failed to meet the judges' criteria, which emphasised on their percentage of weight loss, their discipline, commitment to the programme and also their character. Judges also keep score of accumulated points for each contestant from the past weeks.

"Even though they have been eliminated, we still want them to continue their exercise regime and keep living a healthier lifestyle. We don't want their effort to stop here," said Hjh Nurul Haniah Hj Jaafar, Acting General Manager of B.Mobile Communications, who is one of the judges of the programme.

She went on to explain that each week, starting from the first elimination, the contestants as well as motivators and instructors will be rotated. The whole idea is to build the individual character of each participant.

"Team effort is still very important. However, at the end of the day, the initiatives and hard work are for themselves. After all, it is still a competition to be crowned champion of the B.Fit Challenge," she added.

The remaining 40 contestants will compete in a charity car wash on Nov 4 as part of their weekly challenge. As witnessed in last week challenge, a 'twist' or last-minute surprise is expected. Another 10 contestants will be eliminated this Sunday "We will also be looking at motivators and instructors in each group. The group with the most eliminations, their motivators and instructors will also be eliminated," she warned.
