Bandar Seri Begawan - Dyg Hasliza binti Abdullah, a mother of six living in a wooden-stilt house at Kampong Sungai Teraban, has received an electric generator during a hand-over ceremony at her residence.
The contribution was accumulated from the teachers and staff of Sungai Teraban Primary School to help ease the burden that her family was dealing with, where they have been living without electricity and water supply.
The Principal of Sungai Teraban Primary School, Cikgu Mizawati binti Hj Merusin, handed over the electric generator to the Village Head of Kg Sungai Teraban, Mohd Mersidi bin Hj Mohd Shara, who then presented it to the recipient.
Last month, a joint community work was also held to repair and replace the aged roofing of the house which posed uncomfortable living condition for the family.
