Bandar Seri Begawan - Ten creative Instagrammers walked away with attractive prizes after they were announced as the top 10 winners of the DST Instagram Challenge during a ceremony held yesterday at DST Headquarters.

The challenge required participants to utilise the social media platform Instagram, a popular photo-sharing site, to take attractive photos. The DSLR category required participants to use DSLR cameras to capture photographs prior to uploading them onto Instagram.

In collaboration with BRUNIKA, Brunei's official Instagram network association, DST received over 200 photo submissions based on the theme 'The Future. Now', in which participants had to submit photos capturing a world of possibilities and highlighting progression into the future.

Senior Manager of Group Corporate Communications of DST, Radin Sufri Radin Basiuni, in his capacity as the Chairman of the Organising Committee for the challenge, was on hand to congratulate and present prizes to all the winners.

Hassnal Sulaiman walked away with first prize honours in addition to a 50mm Nikon camera lens, a camera bag and a photography vest. Second place went to Mahyuddin Hj Berudin, who won a photography lighting set, a Sandisk compact flash and a photography vest, while third place went to Mohammad Aziz bin Omar, who received an external hard disk drive from Western Digital and a photography vest. The remaining seven winners received consolation prizes from DST.

The photos of the top 10 winners will be displayed on Brunika's Instagram profile and can be viewed at @Brunika on Instagram.
