Bandar Seri Begawan - DST and Standard Chartered Bank will be launching the first ever 'D Card', which will serve as a loyalty card and also e-cash card for local customers.

The launching of the much-anticipated card will be held at the DST Carnival on November 30. The first 1,000 visitors to sign up will receive a waiver of B$20 on the issuing fees. Awang Matnarudin Ibrahim, General Manager of Kristal cum Chairman of the DST Carnival said.

"It's a historic achievement for DST and Standard Chartered Bank. The D card is a DST loyalty point card and also an e-cash card. People can simply top up and use it to shop online or at shopping malls," said Awang Matnarudin Ibrahim.

Among the advantages of the card are the ability to withdraw money and purchase items whilst allowing loyalty points to be converted to e-cash. From the date of its launch until February, every BN$20 spent and swiped with the card will entitle the holder to a lucky draw. Three winners will bring home an iPad Mini each and seven winners will get a $100 cash reward.

Awang Matnarudin hopes that the new D Card will be a hit among DST subscribers.
