Bandar Seri Begawan - The Department of Electrical Services (DES) has announced that a power interruption will occur on Nov 30, from 6.30am till 9.30am, affecting Hua Ho Mall Tanjong Bunut Kanan and its vicinity. DES said this is to enable maintenance of DES' 11kV High Voltage equipment to be carried out.

On Dec 1, power supply to Bangunan Kedai 66 Unit at Kg Tanjong Bunut and its vicinity will be affected from 730am till 10.30am. On Dec 3, power supply to Spg 59 Kg Tanjong Bunut and its vicinity will also be affected, from 730am till 10.30am.

Meanwhile, in Kuala Belait, on Nov 30, power supply to Seria Clinic, Jalan Lorong Satu Barat and its vicinity will be affected from 9am till 12 noon. This is to enable maintenance work on the equipment inside the 11kV Substation to be carried out.

The department apologises for any inconveniences caused and seeks public cooperation on this matter.

Meanwhile, in view of the requests from the Penghulu and village heads in the Labi area, the DES will be organising a roadshow tomorrow (Nov 30) from 8.30am till 11.30am, to be held at the multi-purpose Hall in Labi.

DES said the aim of the roadshow is to provide explanation regarding the pre-paid metres, SMS, powerkad, online banking, cash deposit machine (CDM) and on-line payments via E-Darussalam.
