Bandar Seri Begawan - Hj Mohammad Salleh Primary School in Sungai Hanching held its first award ceremony in acknowledgement of its excellent students, as well as the first Pre-School Convocation, yesterday, at the Sultan Sharif Ali Secondary School.

The two events also coincided with the 3rd Convocation Ceremony for Year 6 students as well as the presentation of Outreach Programme ICT certificates.

The evening was officiated by Acting Senior Education Officer Brunei II(B) Muhd Azwan Abdullah Lai.

More than 50 students from the pre-class level to Year 6 received the Best Student Award, while six students received the Award of Excellence, nine others received Best PSR 2012 Award, and 36 pre-school students were awarded their certificates from the guest of honor.

For the Year 6 segment, 63 students graduated, marking the end of their primary years as they look ahead to secondary studies at respective schools.

Adding colours to the event were several performances staged by the students, which included nasyid medley, dikir barat, aerobics session, song and dance, and a Filipino bamboo dance.
