Bandar Seri Begawan - The event of Dikir Syarafil Anam which was held for 12 nights consecutively at Baitur Rahmah, Istana Nurul Iman drew to a close on Thursdsay night in the presence of the Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara, YAM Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar.

Also present was YAM Pengiran Anak Haji Muhammad Ruzaini bin Pengiran Dr Hj Mohd Yakub.

The ceremony began with a mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah that was led by Pehin Khatib Awang Haji Mustafa bin Haji Murad and then was followed with Dikir Assalaimualaika performed by mosque officers and imams.

Among the Dikirs presented were Khairuman, Bisyahrin, Alham and Badat; meanwhile during the Marhaban which was performed by mosque officers and imams, 21 cannon shots were fired.

The 'Doa Dikir' was read by Pehin Khatib Awang Haji Mustafa while the 'Doa Selamat' was read by the State Mufti, Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned.

Also attending the ceremony were Pengiran-Pengiran Cheterias, Pengiran-Pengiran Peranakan, Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Ministers, members of the Legislative Council, Pehin-Pehin Manteri, Manteri-Manteri Pendalaman and Permanent Secretaries and senior government officers.
