Bandar Seri Begawan - In conjunction and commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's (pbuh) birthday or Maulud Nabi, the Youth and Sports Department's Brunei-Muara District branch, under the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, yesterday organised volunteer community service work at Lambak Mosque in Berakas.

Approximately 100 people volunteered in the cleaning campaign, involving those from government agencies, youth organisations, Takmir mosque committees, and village consultative councils, as well as youths, other individuals and members of the older generation.

The campaign was aimed at increasing the participation of youths in religious activities to face challenges in the future, to strengthen the mutual understanding and cooperation between the agencies, and to enlivened the celebration with beneficial activities, especially in mutual aid cooperation in cleaning the mosque's surroundings.
