Bandar Seri Begawan - The Bandar Seri Begawan Treasure Hunt Charity Challenge (BSB THCC II) is set to be back for its second appearance on January 20 and 27, 2013 due to popular demand.

Following last year's success, the event will again be held at the same venue, which is Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien, with the same format as last year, but with a different cause. This year's BSB THCC II will be a charity event, supporting the Dana Bella Prihatin Brunei. Fund raised will used for funding programmes for youth development managed by the Youth and Sports Department, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport.

The fun-filled and adventurous event will lean more towards testing participants' mental rather than physical ability, and also their teamwork.

The strategic point-collecting race, incorporating fun games and lots of prizes to win, is different from other challenges organised so far. With a time limit of two hours per team, they are to hunt for treasures hidden amongst the prominent, historical buildings and sites in the city. While doing so, they can get to know more about the beautiful city and its rich history.

BSB THCC II is organised by SAKAM Adventure in partnership with Fitness Zone, Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Department and Youth and Sports Department.

This year, more categories have been added on the demand of the 'Raiders' (previous year participants). For the Public Category, there will be three sub-categories - All Male, All Female and Mix - in which each team will consist three to five participants. As for Corporate Category there is no limit to the number of teams participating, as it is for charity purposes. It is an open gender challenge where each team must have four members. The Student Category, meanwhile, takes on the format of mix gender teams of three to five, where every student team must be captained by a teacher or parent. Students must be at least 15 and below 20 years old as of registration date.
