Bruneian Students In Cairo Celebrate 1434 Hijrah

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Brunei Students Welfare Association in Egypt held a ceremony to celebrate the new Islamic year 1434 Hijrah in Cairo on Wednesday evening. One of the guests honour at the ceremony was Dr Hj Jaapar bin Hj Maidin, an officer from the State Mufti's Department who was in Egypt for a short visit.

Dr Hj Jaapar shared with the students his experience studying in Egypt back in the 1980s. He advised them to gather as much knowledge as possible without neglecting its authenticity.

Mass Magrib and Isyak prayers were performed during the celebration, followed by a Tausyeh presentation by the students.
