Jakara - Members from the Federation of Brunei Malay Entrepreneurs (PPPMB) recently attended the 27th Trade Expo Indonesia at the Jakarta International Expo in Kemayoran, Indonesia. Other delegations from Malaysia, Singapore, the Middle East, China, Japan, Korea, Africa and South America also attended the expo.
At least 1,300 exhibitors displayed a wide variety of top quality products from small, medium and large enterprises including automotive, electronics, furniture, food and beverage, footwear, furniture, jewellery, fashion, handicrafts and traditional home goods. The event was Indonesia's biggest trade expo, launched by its president, Dr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
According to Dr Hj Abdul Latif bin Chuchu, President of PPPMB, the visit to the expo gave an opportunity for the delegation to learn more about trade investment and potential business prospects.
Before leaving Jakarta, the delegation visited the Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of Indonesia, Brigadier General (Rtd) Dato Hj Mahmud bin Hj Saidin at his residence in the Indonesian capital.
