Tutong - Several areas in Tutong District were affected by a blackout last night. The blackout which occurred around 8.30pm ended around 10pm after power was restored in phases by the Department of Electrical Services (DES). Several main roads and Mukims were left in the dark due to the blackout.

The DES when contacted through their 144 hotline stated that the blackout was caused by the damaged transformer.
