Kuala Belait - The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) in the Belait District held a Tahlil and thanksgiving prayer function for their two retired personnel.

Present as guest of honour at the ceremony was DSP Ariffin bin Hj Jafaruddin, the Acting OCPD for Belait District, RBPF who is also the District Criminal Officer.

The retired personnel were Ex-Corporal Md Sahri bin Md Sani, who retired on March 1 and Corporal Maimun binti Hj Arshad who will retire in January next year. Both have served with the RBPF for 18 years.

In his speech, DSP Ariffin stated that it is human instinct to feel happy and proud especially when reminiscing the moments and sacrifices that have been contributed.

He also expressed his best wishes to the retirees and hope that they will view retirement as a challenge and keep moving forward in life.

The Tahlil and thanksgiving prayer were recited by Assistant Police Officer Mohd Fuad Hamdi bin Hj Ibrahim followed by souvenir presentation to the retirees.
