Bata Opens 10th Branch In Mulaut

Kuala Belait - Bata, the popular international shoe chain opened its 10th branch in Brunei yesterday in the Hua Ho Mulaut area to serve customers in the vicinity.

"We chose to open the 10th branch in the Hua Ho Mulaut area because we felt that this area has vast potential to become a buzzing commercial place," Bata Store Manager Lai Teck Yuen said yesterday.

He revealed that each year, Bata stores imported some 20 to 24 of 20-foot containers of shoes to meet the demand of local market.

With more than 24 years of operation in the country Bata is one of the top shoe chains in the Sultanate. Currently there are nine branches in the Brunei-Muara District and one in Kuala Belait.

"We provide a variety of good quality and comfortable shoes for the local market. From children to adults and male to female, our others accessories like bags and belts are increasing becoming a top choice for many customers," said Mr Lai.

"Some of the trendy and affordable brands that are available in Brunei under Bata are Marie Claire, Weinbrenner, Power, Bubblegummers, PataPata, Bata Comfit, Bata Flexible and B.First. Other brands like New Balance and Sketchers are also available."

In conjunction of the new Bata branch, for every second pair of Bata shoes purchased, customers are entitled to a 20 per cent discount.

The promotion runs until October 23.
