Bandar Seri Begawan - The adorable Xylenne Gabrielle emerged as the winner of the 'Flower Girl' photo contest after defeating 190 other contestants and garnering the highest votes in the Divina Brunei Facebook page with 4,752 'likes'.

The 'Flower Girl' received a B$300 Divina voucher yesterday during a prize presentation and launching ceremony of the 'Flower Girl' collection at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Shopping Complex.

Second and third place winners Nurdamia Denisya and Nur Amal Syahirah each received $200 and $100 vouchers after gaining 4,028 and 3,348 'likes' respectively on Facebook.

The remaining five contestants won consolation prizes of $50 vouchers. The photo contest was opened to girls comprising newborns to 10 year olds. Divina provided each contestant with gowns and headpieces. The pictures were then uploaded to the Divina Brunei's Facebook page for the public to vote.

Other sideline activities were refreshments, balloon-making sessions and a magic show to entertain the children, shoppers and visitors.

The Manager of Divina Sdn Bhd, Pang Bee Ching, said that the ceremony aimed to promote the various styles of the flower girl gown and headpieces handmade in Indonesia whilst introducing the latest designs to parents.
