Kuala Belait - One of the victims of a road accident that occurred last Saturday at Jln Tunggulian area sought the cooperation of witnesses of the unfortunate event to testify at the Sungai Liang Police Station.

The victim, who is a woman, told the Bulletin that she was involved in the accident around 6.50pm that day while on her way from Bandar Seri Begawan heading to the Belait District.

The victim claimed to be under pressure as she was alleged as the cause of the accident in which another vehicle behind her was also affected.

She also alleged that she was hit by a car from the opposite direction that fled from the scene.

She added that she could still remember that she could not avoid from being hit as the driver was overtaking the lane from the opposite direction. The victim's car suffered damages to the front side of the driver's seat.

However, she could not remember what actually happened as she suffered a panic attack and was later rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The woman, claiming to be the hit-and-run victim, is pleading with the members of the public who had witnessed the accident to come forward and help testify to the police.
