Bandar Seri Begawan - The exclusive Big Ones Little Ones (BOLO) Art workshop, hosted by Standard Chartered Bank (SCB), yesterday saw the participation of over 60 wide-eyed children turning up for the event at the Dermaga Diraja BSB in the capital.
SCB CEO Lai Pei-Si noted that it was their pleasure to be able to host the special workshop that showcases an array of eye-catching art pieces, and at the same time, educates children about different cultures around the world.
"As an international bank, we believe in embracing diversity and inclusion and this workshop is a great example of this,' she added.
BOLO Founder Trish Amichi hosted the interactive workshop, organised in conjunction with the BOLO Art Exhibition, where the children were treated to numerous fun activities that included storytelling and experiencing music from other lands.
Through these activities, the children were able to acquire new information, allowing them exposure to new ideas, as well as a better understanding of the common threads binding all countries and cultures together.
It also allowed them to see how others communicate through art, particularly those in different and, at times, in disadvantaged circumstances.
