Bandar Seri Begawan - The 9th Session of the Legislative Council (LegCo) Meeting begins next week, with the opening ceremony scheduled on March 7, the Department of Councils of State announced yesterday.

The ninth session will deliberate and debate on the supply bill for the year 2013/2014.

The ninth session will be chaired by YB Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Bakti Diraja Dato Laila Utama Hj Awang Isa bin Pehin Datu Perdana Manteri Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Ibrahim, Speaker of the Legislative Council, assisted by YDM Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Jaya Dato Paduka Awang Hj Judin bin Hj Asar, Clerk I to the Legislative Council, and YM Dato Paduka Awang Hj Abd Salam bin Abd Momin, Clerk II to the Legislative Council.

The ninth session is open to the public interested to hear the discussion and debate, but dress code and regulation need to be observed. Any academic institution interested to watch the discussion and debate during the session can contact the Secretariat at 2384286 or 2380501.
