Bandar Seri Begawan - Certificates for nine participants of cashier course at the Local Employment and Workforce Development Agency were presented yesterday by Dk Zainariah binti Pg Hj Tuah, Senior Labour Inspector, APTK.

The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah.

The course was handled by Brushow Event Management Services for six days, from September 24 to 29.

The training covered topics such as communication skills, responsibility of a cashier, basic book-keeping, technological development and electronic transfer point of sales. The course requirements were 'O' Level qualifications and above and computer skills.

Of the nine, six will participate in the 'On the Job Training' programme as cashiers starting Oct 15.

APTK said they will provide variety of courses in the future for job seekers registered with APTK.

APTK said the courses aim to provide more employable and marketable job seekers.
