61-Member Asean Delegation Visits Brunei's SPARK

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Sungai Liang Authority (SLA) and the Brunei Methanol Company (BMC) Sdn Bhd hosted a visit from teachers, trainers, officers and diplomats from Asean member states currently in the Sultanate to attend the Brunei-US. English Enrichment Project at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD).

The visit was aimed at providing insights on the role of the SLA and the progress of the development of the Sungai Liang Industrial Park (SPARK) as a globally competitive petrochemical and industrial hub.

The 61-member delegation was welcomed upon their arrival by ()Vials from SLA and BMC at the industrial park's centre.

The visit began with a presentation by the SLA regarding their responsibility with regards to the park's development and management and their aims to provide a Single Point Access (SPA) of services and facilities to SPARK tenants. This was then followed by a corporate' video and presentation on the development of the BMC Methanol Plant.

Following the presentation, the delegation were then brought to the SPARK Observation Gallery, during which they were given the opportunity to see a panoramic view of the park.
