Bandar Seri Begawan - A foreign man was fined $500 after pleading guilty to gaming before the Bandar Magistrate's Court yesterday and will serve a month in jail if he fails to pay the fine.

Senior Magistrate Pg Masni Pg Hj Bahar heard that Hussin bin Yaakup was arrested in his car at the Bangunan Cheong Mansion Flat, Pusar Ulak, Jalan Tutong on May 16, 2009 and found in possession of betting slips linked to 4D lottery.

Police from the Gambling & Vice Suppression Unit acted upon receiving information. DPP Nor Hafizah Ahmad prosecuted the case.
