Bandar Seri Begawan - Members of the Rotary Club, their friends and supporters as well as members of the public turned up in force to generously donate blood at a joint blood donation campaign held at the Lexus showroom yesterday.

Jointly organised by the Rotary Club of Bandar Seri Begawan and the Blood Donation Centre, RIPAS Hospital, the blood drive yesterday collected 100 pints of blood to help top up the blood bank supply

Rotary Club President, Jeffrey Yong Teck Chin, expressed appreciation to NBT on behalf of the club, for the use of the very comfortable Lexus showroom. He also thanked NBT staff for their strong continuous support which made the event a success.

"We are further grateful to the RIPAS Blood Donation Centre staff for their kind facilitation and assistance. Most important of all, a big, big thank you to those who donated blood, for giving all the patients out there, a valuable lifeline," he said.

"Thank you for giving the most valuable gift of all - the 'gift of life'."
