Kuala Belait - Ten individuals were arrested by the Royal Brunei Police Force on Friday night for allegedly being involved in a gambling activity in a residential house at Jln Mumong, KB.
Personnel from the Belait CID, with the Anti-Vice and Gambling Suppression Unit raided the house, which was believed to be a gambling den at 9.30pm.
Nine locals and one foreigner were found in the house.
The Police also unearthed a form of Chinese gambling known as 'Pai Gao'. Some $1,500 in cash was also found during the raid.
The operation was carried out following a public tip-off. The suspects, who were aged between 25 and 58, will be charged under Section 4(c) of the Common Gaming Houses Act and were released on bail.
