When Shop Assistants Add Insult To Injury

I had a very bad experience recently in one of the shoe shops in Gadong. I bought a pair of fancy ladies high-heeled shoes that hiked from this shop where shoes appear to be grandly decorative.

I intended to wear my new pair on a very special occasion. However my thrill of wearing my new possession was very short lived. When I wore it for the first time, to my horror the heel broke, leaving me with a broken shoe at a public function.

Needless to say, I was very upset since it spoiled my day. Checking on the structure of the shoe itself, I found it to be of very low quality with only the design being outstanding and alluring.

I went back to the shoe shop to express my disappointment. To my amazement the shop's staff were not at all helpful. Nor were they sympathetic. They didn't even want to hear what happened to me and the embarrassment I suffered after wearing the shoes in public.

Let alone offering to repair it, they didn't even give an ear to customer feedback.

This is the first shoe shop I have been to that has treated me as a customer this way.
