Our simpang used to be peaceful, clean, safe, and relaxing one. It was so fora while until a new tenant came to the neighbourhood.
Now it's no longer residential, but has became some sort of an aluminium factory with lots of bars, plates, aluminium sheets stored there, and an office. There is noise like knocking, welding etc during the day, and sometimes during the night and on Sundays too.
There are cars parked along the simpang and it has become a one way simpang, not to mention heavy vehicles or containers are parked just outside their entrance.
Some are even parked right at the house entrance that makes difficult for us to turn in or out. Rubbish is dumped at a corner and sometimes is piled up and openly burned, disregarding the smoke polluting our neighbourhood.
There are so many people staying in that house and we no longer feel safe to take a short walk along our simpang. The new situation has become a nuisance to the neighbourhood and no one is happy about it. Not to mention the noise pollution we have to endure.
Are businesses like this allowed to operate in residential areas? Where can we lodge a complaint against this situation that we are now forced to endure?
