We hear a lot about the problems of Dreamliner 787. Regarding the news item under the heading "Aviation analysts ponder extent of Boeing 787 issues" and Japan has led some analysts to suggest it might be more than simple teething problems".

The latest report in the Sunday Bulletin of 20/1/2013 page 47 under the heading 'Boeing suspends 787 deliveries' and part of the report said - all fifty 787s in service around the world were grounded on orders of multiple aviation authorities to investigate the cause of two incidents.

Airlines which used Boeing 787 are United Airlines 2, LOT Polish Airline 2, All Nippon Airlines 17, Qatar Airways 5, LAN Airlines 3, Ethiopian Airlines 4, Air India 6 and Japan Airlines 7 (Page 47 of the Sunday Bulletin of 30/1/2013).

It has also been reported in the local media few months ago that Royal Brunei our national airline has confirmed orders to buy Dreamliner Boeing 787. As Bruneians we should be very concerned of our safety as future passengers of Boeing 787. We as passengers will be travelling on this Boeing 787 when the time comes for delivery, replacing the current Boeings with Dreamliners.

Can RB assure us about the safety of this Boeing 787 to be used by RB?

This is not a small matter because it affects our safety and lives of Brunei people as passengers of RB in the future.
