BIBD Contributes $13,000 To ICE 2010 Preparations

Bandar Seri Begawan - Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) Bhd, as part of its active community involvement, yesterday contributed a cheque to help bring in three prominent international speakers for the upcoming 15th Annual International Conference on Education (ICE) 2010.
The $13,000.00 cheque was presented to Dr Hjh Asmah Hj Morni of the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education (SHBIE) by BIBD's Chief Financial Officer, Noraini Sulaiman.
The conference, set to commence on May 24 at the UBD Chancellor Hall, will bring together local and international academics, educators, teachers and professionals with wide-ranging educational experience and areas of specialisation.
Furthermore, a number of sub-themes have been identified to give presenters the opportunities to share their expertise and research data and to enable the public to keep abreast of current school management and leadership issues, such as teacher preparation, counselling issues, and effective teaching practices. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
