UBD Organises Religious Activities For Semester Break

Bandar Seri Begawan - The University Brunei Darussalam Student Affairs Section (UBD SAS) through its Religious and Spiritual Unit yesterday unveiled its religious activities for students during the semester holidays.
The activities are the "Fardhu Kifayah" course and a visit to the Islamic Da'wah Centre as well as the State Mufti's Office.
The Fardhu Kifayah course will be held on May 24 for female participants and May 25 for male participants at the UBD Mosque. This course will be limited to 30 individuals and each participant will be charged B$5.
The deadline for the registration and payment will be May 19 and can be made at the UBD SAS general office.
Meanwhile, the visit to the Islamic Da'wah Centre and State Mufti Department will be held in June. For male participants, the visit will be conducted on June 7 and 8 while the female participants will visit both departments on June 9 and 10. Certificates of appreciation will also be presented to the participants. Registration for the visit will close on May 27.
According to the UBD SAS Religious and Spiritual Department, the objective of the activities are to make use of the students' semester holidays which can increase and strengthen their religious knowledge whilst fostering closer ties between UBD and other government institutions.
