US Assistant Secretary Of State To Visit Brunei

Bandar Seri Begawan - The US State DepartmentAssistant Secretary for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, Mr Kurt Campbell, will be arriving in Brunei on March 12, the US Embassy stated in a press release. He will remain in Brunei till March 14.
Mr Campbell is currently visiting a number of Southeast Asian countries discussing US bilateral relations, Asean relations and other areas of mutual interest. He was in Malaysia, Laos and Thailand prior to his scheduled-visit to Brunei. He will continue to Indonesia, Thailand and Japan after departing Brunei.
Mr Campbell assumed his duties as the Assistant Secretary of East Asian and Pacific Affairs in June 2009. In Brunei, Mr Campbell is scheduled to meet with senior Brunei government officials to discuss opportunities to expand on the existing positive US-Brunei relationship. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
