The owner of IA Salon, Cecelia Lee, who is always willing to travel in order to gain new skills to improve the quality and diversity of services offered at her salon, shared her recent 40-day experience in New York, where she was pursuing a course in the use of a airbrush, at the Make Up-Designory (MUD) School for make-up and cosmetics. She also had the opportunity to meet well-renowned make-up artists.
She said, "New York is simply fantastic. I've learned so many things from the course and I am now qualified to create stencil designs as part of the body arts, to cater for customers' desires. I have brought a variety of stencil designs that clients may select from as well as customised designs. The airbrush tattoo designs can last up to seven days and can easily be removed."
"Other than that, airbrush make-up is absolutely fantastic because it gives you glowing, smooth skin with a natural look. The make-up is ideal for parties or functions as it can last up to 12 hours. It only takes between two to five minutes to apply everything from foundation to eye shadow - so it's very fast and simple and the results are amazing." She also made assurances that all the products used are from her purchases in New York and are of the best quality and is easy on the skin.
The salon will be closed for Chinese New Year from February 14 to 20, and will resume its services on February 21. For more information or to make a reservation, call the salon at 2423232. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
