Bandar Seri Begawan - Syarikat Aliaa Sdn Bhd is bringing to Brunei products from South Africa including Rooibos tea, Dutch Mill and Lorenz snacks. The company promoted these new items to the public at their premises recently.

Rooibos is recommended for people suffering from irritability, headaches, insomnia, tension, mild depression and hypertension - as it contains no caffeine and has a soothing effect on the central nervous system. Rooibos is also known to help ease indigestion.

Research in Japan has found that Rooibos tea contains 50 times more antioxidants than green tea, is completely natural as it contains neither additives, preservatives nor colour producing chemicals.

The Dutch Mill yoghurt drink is made from fresh cow's milk and cultured yoghurt fermented by Lactobacillus bulgaricas and streptococcus thennophilus under aseptic conditions and treated with high levels of heat.

There are currently four different flavours available such as mix-fruit juice, orang, blueberry and strawberry. The Lorenz snack line is made from real potatoes has no preservatives and comes in 13 different flavours. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
