Brunei Establishes Diplomatic Ties With Antigua & Barbuda

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and the Government of Antigua and Barbuda have decided to establish diplomatic' relation with effect from December 21, 2009.
According to a press release, the signing of the Joint Communique took place at the Office of the Permanent Representative of Brunei to the United Nations in New York.
His Majesty's Government was represented by Latif bin Tuah, the Permanent Representative of Brunei to New York, whilst the Government of Antigua and Barbuda was represented by Dr John W Ashe, the Permanent Representative of Antigua and Barbuda.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
