His Majesty Sends Congratulatory Message To Lao

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a congratulatory message to President Choummaly Sayasone, President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic on the occasion of their National Day.

In the message, His Majesty extended his warmest congratulations to the President and expressed his great satisfaction at the progress of relations between the two countries both bilaterally as well as within the framework of Asean and wished that this would be further enhanced in the future for the mutual benefits of the two countries and people.

In a similar message to Bouasone Bouphavanh, Prime Minister of the Lao PDR, His Majesty extended his warmest congratulations to the Prime Minister on the occasion of the National Day and looked forward to continuing work in strengthening both the bilateral relations between the two countries and as partners in Asean.

In ending his message, His Majesty conveyed his best wishes for the good health and happiness of the President and for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Laos. His Majesty also sent II, Kindest regards to the Prime Minister.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
