The 15th workshop aims at exposing the students to the many aspects of the business world while also providing an avenue for the students to discover hidden talents that would enable them to be more business-minded.

Fifty students from five different secondary schools are taking part this year. All of them hope to leave the workshop with in-depth knowledge on the opportunities and risks of doing business.

This year's workshop w ill see both male and female students from Science College, Sayyidina Othman, H a j ah Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Lumut, Sultan Hassan, and St Andrew's, attend talks conducted by Hj Adnan Hj Abd Ghani, the Assistant Project Officer, who gave them a brief introduction yesterday on the business environment.

The workshop also aims to promote the use of technology in doing business, while also designing programmes that would ease the process of doing business.

It also hopes to act as an "incubator" that functions primarily with the focus of doing business in the agricultural sector, which includes fishing and forestry. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
