Bandar Seri Begawan - The Humanitarian Fund for victims of Indonesia's earthquake and Philippines' typhoons was given a boost with a contribution from the spouse of the Minister of Religious Affairs yesterday.

While the amount of the donation was not disclosed. Pg Datin Hjh Johana Pg Hj Zainal said that the donation, which was handed over to the Pertiwi Association, was a personal contribution. Held at the official residence of the minister in Jalan Berakas, the event began with Zikir prayers before Pg Datin Hjh Johana handed the donation to Pertiwi Association's President Datin Paduka Hjh Jusnani Hj Lawie.
