Golfer Spots Croc At Seventh Hole
Bandar Seri Begawan - A Golfer got the shock of his life when he came face-to-face with what he said was a five-metre-long crocodile, at the Panaga Golf Course, yesterday morning.
The man spotted the reptile close to the lake where the seventh hole is located, while playing his usual morning round of golf. He immediately placed an emergency call at around 10.45am to the Fire and Rescue Department.
Fire and Rescue personnel soon arrived at the scene equipped with a large net, some rope, and a rod to catch the crocodile. They waited until the afternoon but the crocodile was no longer seen in the area.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
