Bandar Seri Begawan - Eleven officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and four from the Mulaut Abattoir Sdn Bhd recently coordinated an event for the sacrifice of animals in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidiladha.

The officials were led by Dato Seri Setia Haji Muhd Zaimi bin Haji Talip, the Judge of Syariah High Court, Department of State Judiciary, Prime Minister's Department cum the Chairman of Coordinate Committee Members For The Sacrifice of Animals for Hari Raya Aidiladha donated by His Majesty Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam and assisted by the Permanent Secretary and Deputy Permanent Secretary and officials from the Halal Food Controller Unit, Department of Syariah Affairs, Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Representatives from the Mulaut Abattoir Sdn Bhd were Awang Ishak bin Haji Muhammad Yussof, the General Manager; Assistant Manager Pengiran Imran bin Pengiran Haji Sabli and Awang Haji Hafiz Haji Muhammad Daud, the Operations Manager.

A total of 64 cattle and 14 goats have been donated by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara Brunei Darussalam for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidiladha or Hari Raya Korban.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
