Bandar Seri Begawan - Kampong Bebuloh, Mukim Pengkalan Batu recently hosted students from the Canadian International School, Hong Kong. The visitors lived in the village homes for two days and two nights with their adopted families and participated in several activities ranging from paddy planting to morning aerobics.

On their last night there, they were treated to a dance and 'gendang'- a musical instrument native to the Bisaya group. In addition, the students also performed to entertain the audience.

The guest of honour, Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Wadood Bolkiah, enjoyed the performances and joined in one of the traditional games. At the end of the performance, the guest of honour was invited to take a group photo with the cultural workshop members and students from Hong Kong led by Haji Muhd Said bin Tundal, the village head, and his advisor, Lt Col (R) Haji Mohd Sahlan, along with members of the village consultative committee, the Penghulu of Mukim Pengkalan Batu, the village head of Wasan and the village head of Limau Manis. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
