Bandar Seri Begawan - The co-curriculum committee of the Sultan Sharif Ali Secondary School, Kampong Salambigar yesterday held an inter-house "Telematch" sports event for its students held at the school's open area.

As many as four `houses' took part in the event namely Awang Semaun House, Awang Alak Betatar House, Awang Jerambak House and Awang Patin Berbai House.

Among the activities were a fruit eating competition, sack race and scavenger hunt.

'Destressing' after end-of-year exams and fostering cooperation between teachers and students were among the main aims of the sports event as well as to promote physical activities among students.

The event saw the presence of the school's principal, Hajah Zaliha Haji Dollah, deputy principals, senior teachers, teachers as well as students from the school. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
