Bandar Seri Begawan - Cosmopolitan College of Commerce and Technology held an Orientation Day' for the new intake of Higher National Diploma (HND) students recently, at the College's Student Centre.

The activity was organised to familiarise the incoming students to their new surroundings, inform the students of the important rules and regulations, and to motivate them to attend- their classes.

Mr Abdul Aziz bin Hj Abdul Latip, the Executive Chairman of CCCT, was present where he shared with them words of motivation and inspiration.

He said, "I encourage everyone to take on this challenge of taking Higher National Diploma while working. I know that you will come out as better individuals, competitive and marketable in your line of work.

This was followed by a brief power point presentation of the college's history and the activities that have been carried out within the last year.

There was also a session where the students were introduced to the lecturers and staff of the institution.

The highlight of the programme was the awarding of certificates to the first HND 'graduates of the college and awarding of a scholarship to Ms Hjh Noor Hafizah binti Haji Md Sapian.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
