Donations To National Orphans' Fund

Bandar Seri Begawan - More than $170,000 have been collected through this year's SMS (Short Messaging System) Brunei Prihatin project "between" August 26 to October 13.
At a ceremony at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports yesterday, Giant Hypermarket donated $ll,560.61 to the national orphans' fund while DST Group and B-Mobile Communications donated $94,820 and $83,958 respectively.
Receiving the mock cheques from the representatives of the respective companies was Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Ahmed Hj Jumat, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.-- Courtesy of The Brunei Times
