Royal Congratulatory Messages For Oman's National Day
Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a congratulatory message to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said, Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman, on the occasion of the National Day of Oman.
In his message, His Majesty sent his warmest congratulations to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said, Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman, on the occasion of the National Day of the Sultanate of Oman.
His Majesty expressed his great satisfaction as well as that of the people of Brunei Darussalam at the warm and close cooperation shared between the two countries. In the message, His Majesty also referred to the recent consultations held in Brunei Darussalam and the wider scope of cooperation agreed on, especially in the areas of education, health, trade and the economy, which are a testimony to the good relationship between our two countries.
His Majesty looks forward to continuing to work with His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said to enhance this much-valued relationship in the coming years. In ending his message, His Majesty extended his best wishes that Allah would bless His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said with continued good health and happiness and his continous protection and the people of the Sultanate of Oman would also be blessed with continued progress and prosperity.
Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, sent a congratulatory message to Oman's Minister responsible for Foreign Affairs, Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah. His Royal Highness said, "I would like to send my warmest respects to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos on His Majesty's 69th birthday and my congratulations to you and the government and people of the Sultanate of Oman on your National Day.
"It was a great pleasure to work with you again in our co-chairmanship of the recent Asean-GCC meeting and I much appreciated your support and friendship. I look forward to many further opportunities to continue strengthening our countries' long-standing friendship, goodwill and cooperation.
"With my very best wishes for your personal good health and happiness and the prosperity of the brotherly people of Oman," His Royal Highness said in the congratulatory message. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
