B-Mobile POOR Service All Round

Hi, I would be interested to hear from anyone who has subscribed to the Zoom Broadband service from B Mobile. At $60 per month the speed I get is slower than dial up - therefore 28KBPS in the Rimba area...instead of getting a few Mbps!! I complained many, many times and was told they are upgrading their service/network etc. So 2 months later and $120 spent, still nothing has improved.

The last thing they did was to take my brand new modem replaced twice for checking by their technicians. I was told a maximum of 3 days wait. After 10 days, still no call nothing. So I called them again...and they just said I have to wait more!!! So we will be coming to 3 months and paid for nothing. I am planning to take it to the Senior Manganement of the company in order to get some compensation as this is very poor service. Do share you experience so I can see if this is just with me please!! Thanks.

Yes, the gas has run out in Zoom!

I have the same problem, started about a couple of months or so ago. I am in the Bandar area and I think the problem affects all users. The speed usually improve after midnight, but still not as fast as used to be.
I think there should be a consumer protection law against this type of shoddy service provider. If they cannot provide the level of service that they claimed, then there should be a refund, or some form of compensation until the server is properly upgraded.
Disappointed.

From Zoom to Doom!!!
written by Doom , November 17, 2009
Hi Phil, I remember 2 years back, there was a complain made on BB concerning the speed & signal strength of Zoom in KB area... after that B Mobile had done something to show they are basically gutless by not replying at all!!!

If there's an organization out there to protect consumer's right in Brunei, we might be seeing some companies being sued for misleading!!!

well that's the culture here, we pay premium price for economic services instead of premium services.......that's why people from outside of the countries says we are damn rich....

2G or 3G
written by disappointed , July 29, 2010
I have recently subscribed to b-mobile last month. The connection was fast for the first time usage. Then lately, it's getting slower and slower. Paying B$60/month ain't cheap. The upgrading have been going on for months. I'm so disappointed on this. Everytime I'm using it I'm getting the speed connection of 2G not 3.5G. They should have lowered the monthly bill coz of the lame internet speed.

BMobile & Espeed are the same
written by BMobiLL , July 30, 2010
I have both espeed and bmobile prepaid. Whenever espeed down, bmobile(zoom) also down. I have encountered that so many time. So better switch to DST Broadband cos if those two doesnt work, DST broadband always come to my rescue smilies/smiley.gif
